Where clearance is a problem for a conventional line stop, some applications can be performed using the HTS cross line stop (plug).

HTS solves the clearance problem by hot tapping from the opposite side of the branch and plugging the branch from inside with a cross-line plug.

The HTS process compatible plug is capable of withstanding high temperatures.
