This group occupies an 8800 square foot, temperature and humidity-controlled laboratory which assures consistent product blending of chemicals while extending the shelf life of raw and finished materials. Sealants are blended for process services ranging from cryogenic temperatures to 1700^oF and pressures in excess of 6000 psig. Special sealants are available meeting FDA requirements for food grade applications. Nuclear and other applications with intergranular stress corrosion cracking (IGSCC) concerns may use batch analytic reports that ensure known detrimental elements are within acceptable limits.
